Jean Dessein Get’s NFL Internship

Edward Waters College Assistant Head Football Coach/ Offensive Coordinator Jean Dessein is heading to Kansas City for a summer long Internship. Jean will be spending his summer with the Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs as part of the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship.

“Established in 1987 and named after late Pro Football Hall of Fame head coach, Bill Walsh, the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship provides NFL coaching experience to select minority college coaches, high school coaches, and former NFL players. Since the program’s beginning, nearly 2,000 minority coaches have been involved, with support from all 32 NFL teams during their offseason workouts, minicamps, and training camps with select fellows extending their fellowship through the regular season.”

Jean will be learning for 3 weeks from one of the greatest coach’s in the modern era Andy Reid, and may potentially work along side 2019 MVP, Super Bowl MVP, and NFL All-Pro quarterback, Patrick Mahomes.
